In Continued drive against Absconders launched by District Police Reasi, after 05 years of Chase, Reasi Police arrested a proved kidnapping and rape accused Absconder who was evading arrest in criminal case of year 2012.
Charge sheet was produced against accused Sartaj Aziz S/O Abdul Gani Maskeen R/O Bagga Mahore after kidnapping and rape case FIR number 30/2012 Dated 10:04:2012 U/S 363, 376 RPC, Police Station Mahore, was proved. Subsequently trial started in the court of law. To escape conviction, accused jumped the bail & evaded trial.
On 02/06/2016 Hon’ble court issued non-bailable warrants U/S 512 CrPC to arrest the accused Sartaj Aziz & produce before the Hon’ble court of Principal District and Sessions Judge Reasi. Accused evaded Court proceedings by going underground & couldn’t be apprehended for the last five long years.
Reasi Police developed a specific input by meticulously planning & chased till his arrest from Batmaloo Area district Srinagar.
This is arrest of TENTH ABSCONDER by Reasi Police in last one month against whom warrant U/S 512 CrPC was pending. SSP Reasi Shailender has geared up his all police team against the absconding criminals of District Reasi.
