Principal Government Medical College Jammu, Dr Nasib Chand Digra, today said that it has taken adequate measures to maintain ample supply of Oxygen Cylinders for Covid positive patients under treatment in the GMC and Associated Hospitals.
Around 750 cylinders have been consumed in the last 24 hours in GMC only and 60 in CD Hospital, he said.
Dr Digra said that there are total 132 patients in GMC out of which 31 are in isolation ward, 15 are in CCU, 33 in ward no 3 and 29 in ward no 7 and 24 are in HUD and all the patients are on oxygen supply.
It was further informed that all 48 Covid Patients in Chest Disease Hospital are also on oxygen supply, while 4 patients are in Gandhi Nagar Hospital .
He further informed that three deaths have also been reported in GMC in the last 24 hours.
