Adll. Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu Zone, Jammu concluded his two day tour to Kishtwar , Dachan and Machail here today.
During the tour he held a crime meeting and security review meeting of district Kishtwar. He also met delegations of all political parties, religious groups and DDC members and listened to their views about improving the functioning of the Police. Some suggestions were also made regarding district administration and the same was responded to by the Deputy Commissioner.
A meeting of all security forces including Police, CAPF and Army was also held in which strategies were discussed to improve the law and order, security situation and for the peaceful conduct of Machail yatra.
Similar meetings were held at Machail and Dachan where the ADGP met public delegations and representatives of security forces.
The ADGP sensitized all officers regarding the latest trends in terror activity and precautions to be taken to prevent any adverse incident.
The ADGP Jammu Zone also put medals and ranks to the awardees.
Minutes of the meeting have been prepared and follow up action on all actionable points shall be taken.
