Senior BJP leader and former minister, MK Ajatshatru Singh along with his Ranvijay Singh felicitated Yuva Rajput Sabha President Rajan Singh Happy and his team for successfully leading the movement regarding the holiday on birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh on September 23, every year.
While hounouring Happy, the former minister, who happened to be the grandson of Maharaja Hari Singh, the last ruler of undivided erstwhile State of J&K said that Yuva Rajput Sabha has scripted the history by successfully leading the movement for holiday on the Maharaja Hari Singh’s birthday. He appreciated the approach of Rajan Singh in leading the peaceful stir for seeking the holiday on September 23.
He said that the role played by Yuva Rajput Sabha members was exemplary in the whole gamut which led to declaration of holiday on the aforesaid date by LG Manoj Sinha as they didn’t allow anyone to play politics of opportunity in the matter.
Ajatshatru Singh also recalled that he had also raised the issue in the Legislative Council of erstwhile state of J&K as the matter was concerning the sentiments of hundreds of people belonging to Jammu and Kashmir. He once again praised the way the Yuva Rajput Sabha roped in all the segments of society for taking the movement to its logical conclusion.
Ranvijay Singh also appreciated the role played by the Yuva Rajput Sabha members in leading the agitation. He also assured the Sabha members of joining the victory rally being taken out on the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh on September 23.
