Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari and other senior leaders give a warm welcome to new entrants

Srinagar, June 10: A large number of prominent political and social leaders and activists from the central Shalateng constituency joined Apni Party today.
The new members were formally welcomed into the party by Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari and other senior leaders during a special function held at the party headquarters in Srinagar.
Extending a warm welcome to the new members into the party fold, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, assured them that they would never regret joining the organisation.
He said, “I wholeheartedly welcome you all to the Apni Party fold. This organisation will provide you with ample opportunities to serve the people in your respective areas, and I assure you that you will never be disappointed with your decision to join the party.”
He asserted that, unlike traditional political parties, the Apni Party is committed to the politics of truth, transparency, and integrity rather than deception.
Taking a dig at the conventional political parties, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said these parties had misled people for decades through unrealistic promises and emotionally charged slogans.
“During the past seven decades the traditional political parties and their leaders have been misleading people either through fake promises or emotional slogans. At times they have invoked slogans such as ‘Raishumari’, ‘Autonomy’, ‘Self-Rule’, and other political narratives to influence public sentiment,” he said.
“However, the reality is that these parties have always sought to attain power through such false and emotionally charged slogans,” he added.
He urged people not to continue falling prey to the deceptions of these parties.
