‘Supplicates for peace and health to all’
SRINAGAR, May 09: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Sunday felicitated the people of J&K on the sacred occasion of Shab-e-Qadr.
In a message issued here, Bukhari said that Shab-e-Qadr also known as the ‘Night of Power’ holds a pivotal position in Islam as on this night Holy Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.
“This night marks an important event which changed world history wherein the best of mankind was bestowed with an eternal message of peace and love i.e Holy Quran,” he remarked.
He also urged the people to hold special prayers and supplicate earnestly for the end of this pandemic.
“I hope that with our sincere prayers on this auspicious night Almighty Allah will bestow us with serenity and relieve humanity from the burden of this disease. However, while praying, we shouldn’t let our guard down and strictly follow all the SOP’s diligently,” he observed.
