Srinagar, 04, August 2026: Altaf Bukhari’s greetings on Urs of Sufi Saint Hazrat Nanga Baji Sahib. In a post on social handle X, Altaf Bukhari said, “On the auspicious occasion of the annual Urs of the revered Sufi saint Hazrat Nanga Baji Sahib, which commenced today, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all the devotees. As traditionally a large number of devotees pay obeisance at the revered shrine at Malangam, Bandipora, during the week-long observance, I urge the district administration to ensure the availability of all essential facilities, including uninterrupted electricity, safe drinking water, and adequate transport services, for the convenience of the people. I also urge the concerned departments to ensure proper hygiene and cleanliness in and around the sacred shrine, thereby providing a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all visiting devotees.”
