Union Home Minister Amit Shah hailed the union cabinet decision to extend market intervention scheme for procurement of apples in J&K and complimented Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the fruit growers friendly step.
He tweeted: “ Furthering its commitment to help and empower the people of J&K, PM Narendra Modi led union cabinet has approved the extension of Market Intervention Scheme for procurement of apples.”
Shah observed that this will “ enhance the income of apple growers by providing an effective marketing platform.”
