Jammu, March 22 : Yet again Home Minister Amit Shah praised Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for his dedication and devotion in uplifting the people of the Union Territory to aspire for the best in a peaceful atmosphere, which has been made possible following abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019.
Amit shah while inaugurating the Sharda Devi temple in Teetwal that runs parallel to Kishenganga river, praised the role of Sinha for contributing with zeal and unparalleled sense of duty for ushering peace in Jammu and Kashmir. He also hailed the Lt. Governor for his efforts to initiate cultural and religious harmony renaissance in Kashmir, where temples were being built and renovated, and Sufi shrines being paid special attention to.
Amit Shah sad that the LG J&K has set his march, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to transform Jammu and Kashmir, where he not only brought peace but also strived and succeeded in getting industrial investment. On Sunday, the LG had laid foundation stone of multi-hundred crore EMAAR Mall, which will add to the prestige of the landscape of Kashmir and also serve inspiring investors to come and invest more. Such ventures are certain to generate employment and make the people proud of the structures with lie and vibrancy on the beautiful land of Kashmir Valley.
The Home Minister counted several success stories scripted in j Jammu and Kashmir post abrogation of Article 370 under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and dedicated efforts of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
Here it is worthwhile to recall that the Article 370 was abolished on August 5, 2019, and Manoj Sinha took over as LG of J&K on August 7, 2020. By simple calculation, he has been in office for two years and seven months. He has revolutionized the people-oriented steps of the government, created an environment which existed in the dreams of the people of J&K, for they had seen nothing but destruction, violence for over 30 years.
Amit Shah summed up the contribution of LG in these words, “the zeal with which
