Indian Constitution Guarantees Equality, Ends Discrimination: S. Manjit Singh

Jammu: Apni Party today celebrated the Jayanti of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar with zeal and enthusiasm at the party office in Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
The celebration was organised under the leadership of Provincial President Jammu and former Minister, S. Manjit Singh, in which a large number of leaders and workers participated.
The leaders garlanded the portrait of Dr B.R. Ambedkar as a mark of respect for his unmatched contribution towards the upliftment of economically weaker and marginalised sections of society, with the aim of empowering them.
While addressing the gathering, former Minister S. Manjit Singh said that the contribution of Dr B.R. Ambedkar cannot be ignored, especially in light of the guarantees provided to economically, politically, and socially neglected sections of society, as enshrined in the Constitution of India.
He said that the Government of India is bound by the Constitution, which ensures the protection of the rights of people in the world’s largest democratic country.
He also greeted people on the occasion of Baisakhi and appealed for harmony and unity in society to make the country more inclusive and progressive.
He further stated that the modern education system provides equal opportunities and rights to both women and men of all classes. Therefore, the class and caste system should be eradicated to ensure equality, he added.

Pura Inder Paul Singh, senior leader Badri Nath Sharma, Mohamed Arif , Teerath Singh, Rashid Paul, S.ParamjeetSingh ,Ashok Sharma, Laba Ram, and others.
Meanwhile, the party leaders led by former Minister S Manjit Singh also organised a function in Vijaypur in Samba District to mark jayanti of Dr B.R. Ambedkar. The leaders garlanded the portrait of Dr Ambedkar.
