Shafat Kazmi clarifies and refutes; misleading media reports

Srinagar, August 1: Apni Party’s District President Bandipora Shafat Kazmi has clarified that the party’s organizational set up with its vibrant cadre is intact in Bandipora district, despite a senior leader and his personal workers resigning from the party membership.
In his statement issued here, Kazmi said, “Usman Majid sahib, along with his workers, has resigned from the party membership; however, the party remains intact in the district. Even though Usman Sahib has quit the party, the rest of the leaders and grassroots-level workers are enthusiastically vibrant and will continue to pursue the party’s people-friendly agenda.”
He added, “I strongly reject the baseless and misleading media reports suggesting that all the party units in Bandipora have resigned. Our organizational setup is intact, and we are taking massures to strengthen the party further in the district.
