Jammu, December 25: The Army Chief Manoj Pande is visiting Bafliaz area of Poonch district which has emerged as hot bed of attacks on army jawans . He will also assess the situation arising out of the killing of three civilians in the aftermath of December 21 ambush of army vehicles in which four soldiers were killed were killed and two others injured.
This is for a second time that the army chief is visiting the Rajouri- Poonch belt . Earlier he had visited in May when five soldiers were ambushed and killed by terrorists.
Meanwhile, the army has ordered court of inquiry into the attack on soldiers and subsequent killing of civilians.
It has also shifted some of the officers in the wake of December 21 attacks and killing of civilians next day
