Jammu , December 25: The Indian Army chief Gen. Manoj Pandey visited Poonch and reviewed situation with local commanders and asked them to conduct operations in professional manner.
Gen Pande who reached Poonch this morning took stock of the situation arising out of terror attack on soldiers in Bafliaz, Poonch , in which four soldiers were killed . He also discussed situation caused by the killing of three civilians in the area in the aftermath of the terror attack .
The ambush of soldiers on lat Thursday had raised question about the expanding reach of terrorists and army’s vulnerability to ambushes in hills dotted by dense forests.
According to army, as mentioned on X, formerly Twitter, that Gen Pande visited Poonch and interacted with with local commanders.
