The Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Gool, organised a medical camp at Budhan in Reasi district with an endeavour to reach out to people in the remote areas of Pir Panjal ranges.
A team of doctors from Army and the civil administration provided medical support and care to the locals on the occasion. Free medical advice including medicines was provided to 748 locals including 343 women from Budhan, Chhamba, Ziarat, Chaklas, Mahasal and adjoining villages.
The medical camp was organised as a humanitarian initiative by the Army which brought the much needed medical facilities at the doorsteps of these villages.The civil administration and local populace appreciated the effort by the Army for reaching out to the locals of remote areas.
