In order to strengthen the bond between the local populace and the Army, regular interactions are organised. Continuing the trend, an interaction with prominent citizens and Sarpanches was organised on 07 January 2019. The aim of the interaction was to discuss peace and tranquility in the region.
A total of 17 persons were present during the interaction. Various issues related to development in the area, problems faced by the local populace and the work done by the Army to sustain peace and improve the quality of living of the local populace were discussed.
The village authorities appreciated and applauded the support provided by the Army in all spheres. Speaking on the occasion, the Sarpanch of the village said that such meetings not only enhance the bond between the Army and AWAM but also boost the morale of the locals which in turn assists in maintaining peace and harmony in the region.
