Srinagar, January 8:
A militant was killed in a brief shoot out with the army in Litter area of Pulwama district in south Kashmir on Tuesday morning .
Official sources said that army patrolling party was going though the area for census process however suddenly militants opened fire on them which was retaliated in which one militant was killed.
Area is under cordon and search operation is on in the area.
