Jammu, August 17: The Resident Doctors Association of ASCOMS Medical College and hospital
stands in solidarity with the nationwide protests following the tragic rape and
murder of a resident doctor at RG kar medical college in Kolkata. The incident has
sparked a wave of protests across the country. Resident doctors along with faculty
and staff of ASCOMS Medical College and hospital is actively participating in
these protests. All non-essential and elective Hospital services including OPD, OTs
and ward services have been suspended. This heartbreaking event has resonated
deeply with us all. We call on government authorities and medical bodies to
urgently address the safety concerns and implement robust measures to safeguard
our healthcare professionals. Our unity in this cause reflects our collective resolve
to end such violence and atrocities
