Awarded Eight women with “ASSOCHAM J&K Women Achievers Award-2022”

The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM)–one of the oldest apex body of the country has honored Women achievers of Jammu and Kashmir with ‘ASSOCHAM J&K Women Achievers-2022’ for their excellence in their professional fields, on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
Ankita Kar, MD JKTPO was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
ASSOCHAM J&K Council had invited nomination in different category for J&K Women Achievers- 2022, for which 23 nominations were received and the jury selected Eight awards.
Namrata Modi, Executive Director, Prevest Denpro Ltd. got the award in Manufacturing Category, Arati Kuthiyala, Director, Jodhamal Public School for award in Education, Ruchika Gupta, MD, Ruchika Makeover, Geetanjali Salon awarded for Beauty and Wellness, Insha Muzaffar Wani was also awarded with beauty and Wellness Category, Geetika Kohli of Thinksta Creative was awarded in Startup Category, CA Tripti Khajuria of Greenkart was awarded in Innovation category, In media Category, Khushboo Mattoo of TV-18 was awarded and in Retail category award was given to Ms. Twahida Akhtar of Shining Boutique, Srinagar.
Ankita Kar, MD JKTPO while congratulating the winners said, “Such award events encourages the women to come forward and show their talent to the world.”
The winners were awarded with Trophy, Certificate, and a gift voucher of worth Rs. 6000 each.
“We started this award in 2021 and today we hosted second edition of it. We will keep doing such events in future to encourage Women Entrepreneurs of Jammu and Kashmir,” said Manik Batra, Chairman ASSOCHAM J&K Council.
All the participants were given certificate of Participation.
“We at ASSOCHAM want to give women entrepreneurs and changemakers of J&K a platform where they can connect, share ideas and find solutions to challenges being faced by women entrepreneurs,” said Dr. M A Alim, Co- Chairman ASSOCHAM J&K Council.
