Baramulla, June 11:
Baramulla Police recovered a girl who was abducted and arrested the person involved in the crime.
Police Post Wusan received an information from one person namely Ghulam Hassan Dar son of Abdul Khaliq Dar resident of Tengpora Pattan wherein he stated that his daughter has been kidnapped by one person identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar resident of Tengpora Pattan, District Baramulla. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No.138/2021 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Pattan.
On receipt of this information, officers from Police Station Pattan swung into action and recovered the abducted girl from Tengpora Crossing area of Pattan. Accused involved in the commission of the crime has also been arrested.
After completing the medico-legal formalities, the recovered girl was handed over to her legal heirs. Further investigation into the case is going on.
