Jammu, April 17: Jammu and Kashmir Special Tribunal has set aside the demolition notice issued by Jammu Development Authority, thus giving relief to the wife of former Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Nirmal Singh.
Nirmal Singh has a house in Ban Nagrota, adjacent to Jammu- Srinagar highway, about 15 kms from Jammu city . It had become a source of contention as there were reports that it has been constructed in violation of land use rules. The matter was referred to the tribunal.
JDA has issued a demolition notice with regard to the house of the former Deputy Chief Minister.
Now that notice has been set aside.
