Jammu, April 9: BJP, angered by National Conference Government’s moves to stall Assembly business on Waqf Act , has decided to take on the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to force him to rein in his party’s agenda or to quit.
Sources said that the BJP, which has 28 seats in the Assembly, believes “ enough is enough” and wants NC government should either perform or perish . The sources said that it is going to press for aggressive action against NC, which it called as an extension of anti-national forces as it is crossing its domain.
NC cannot discuss any issue that has been approved by the parliament, it argues . Second, it taking diversionary route to deflect attention from its failures. The party will not hesitate to call for resignation of the Government
