JAMMU, October 10:
Bharatiya Janata Party will launch “Kisaan Jan Jagran Abhiyaan” in Jammu & Kashmir, told Ravinder Raina, J&K BJP President while he addressed first marathon meeting on the farmers’ issue at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Ravinder Raina was also accompanied by MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, party General Secretaries Sunil Sharma, Adv. Vibodh Gupta & Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal and Kisaan Morcha President Omi Khajuria while addressing a meeting attended by party Vice-Presidents, Secretaries and District Incharges.
Meeting proceedings were carried out by Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal.
Ravinder Raina while addressing the meeting, said the farmers of the Nation have been freed from the economic bindings upon them after long 70 years and this has created ripples among those black sheep who were cultivating sheer profits through black-marketing & hoarding, giving nothing to the farmers. He said that the recent bills passed by Modi government have empowered the farmers giving them the authority to sell their crops anywhere thus increasing their consumer base. He said that this new arrangement is in addition to already existing old system of Mandis and MSP which has not been tampered thus transferring maximum to the farmers’ kitty. But the whole issue is being manipulated at the end of Congress, which has nothing to do with the benefit of the farmers or any other needy person. He said that the BJP leaders will take this whole topic to the farmers and will soon launch the Kisaan Jan Jagran Abhiyaan for the same.
Jugal Kishore Sharma in his address termed these acts as revolutionary for the socio-economic conditions of the farmers and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the same. He said that this new arrangement will strengthen our mission to double the farmers’ income soon and the feeders of the Nation will no longer will themselves alienated in the system. He accused the Congress party of misleading the gullible farmers by furthering their corrosive agendas and misusing the their energies at the Pandemic struck time through their ill intentioned false propagandas.
