Jammu , July 10: On the eve of hearing in Supreme Court of the petitions challenging abrogation of Article 370 on Tuesday , the Centre on Monday filed a fresh affidavit in the apex high court reeling out the benefits that the constitutional change of August 5, 2019 , delivered to Jammu and Kashmir , Bar and Bench reported and tweeted.
The Affidavit submitted in the Supreme court , the Centre defended its action of scrapping Article 370 , saying it has brought “ unprecedented stability and progress – Normalcy, with strikes, school closures and stone pelting being a thing of the past; 0 stone pelting incidents this year – 3-tier panchayat system in UT – Application of Central laws like Right to Education – Dismantling of terror ecosystem
