Jammu, April 1: Border Security Force (BSF) today foiled yet another drone attempt by Pakistan on International Border (IB) in Ramgarh sector.
Alert troops of BSF forced the drone to return after firing towards it.
Giving details, BSF spokesperson said that a blinking light was observed around 12.15 am on the IB in general area of Ramgarh. “Alert troops fired towards the blinking light due to which it was forced to return back,” he added.
After the incident, BSF started a search operation in the area and in the morning the search operation was intensified.
Pakistan has adopted this new approach of dropping arms and ammunition and narcotics through drones to support terrorism. Pakistan has been doing it on both IB and LoC but both Army and BSF have been foiling these attempts on regular basis.
