Jammu, September 22: BSF troopers foiled a major infiltration attempt by terrorists from across border in RS Pura sector on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday, claimed a spokesman of the force.
The spokesperson said that on the intervening night of 21 Sept/22 Sept 2024, the vigilant BSF troops noticed a suspicious movement wherein an intruder was observed approaching toward BSF Fence in R S Pura border area, the alert troops thwarted the infiltration attempt. Thorough search was carried out in the first light and following items were recovered till now.
1.Pistol – 02 Nos.
Mag – 04 and 9 mm rounds- 20 nos
3.Rifle AK 47 series – 01 no. 4. Mag – 02 nos and 17 rounds.
