Kulgam, May 3: A cloudburst occurred in Kulgam district of south Kashmir which triggered flash foods.
The flash floods created panic among people who tried to move towards safer places.
According to officials, cloudburst occurred in the upper reaches of Lammar-Hallan area in Devsar this afternoon.
“Soon after the cloudburst, there was a sudden downflow of water, creating panic in the area,” he said.
Naib tehsildar Lammar, Hyder Hussain said that no loss of life or injury has been reported in the incident, while situation is under control.
