Jammu, December 30: Activists of Congress today organised a protest against PDP-BJP coalition government and also burnt an effigy of Deputy CM, Nirmal Singh at Hirnagar in Kathua district over the fresh case of discrimination with Jammu Region.

Congress workers hold protest against Coalition Government and condemned the notification issued on the recruitment of teachers in which six districts of Jammu region including Jammu and Kathua are missing and Jammu is getting 14 percent share whereas 86 percent goes to Kashmir region.

The protest was led by Congress leader Romesh Kundal and he has strongly criticized the Deputy CM, Dr Nirmal Singh, who is also belonged to Kathua district and his home district is also missing in the notification list. The protestors said that it was the same BJP, which organised protests in previous government’s tenure on the issues of discrimination with Jammu, now itself involved in the discrimination issues.

Among others those present Devinder Kumar, Sat Paul, Suresh Sharma, Narender Sharma, Rajesh Kumar, Mangal Nath and Pawan Kumar.
