The threat of Corona virus is taking toll on everybody whereas people with weak immunity are at the high risk. Taking this into consideration, district administration Doda has advised people above 60 years of age to stay home to stay safe.
In this regard, DC Doda Sagar D. Doifode issued an order advising people above this age group not to venture out unnecessary.
During past few days, COVID-19 cases are on the rise in Doda district and after Jammu district highest number of cases are coming up in this district.
The administration has also started door to door screening in various containment zones and especially in Bhaderwah area where many deaths have occurred due to this virus. With increase in testing the number of cases have also increased.
District administration believes that the pattern of transmission of virus is at rapid pace and old age people and patients are at higher risk developing severe illness if they contract the virus.

Thus, the administration has advised such people, especially people above thebage group of 60, to stay home to stay safe.
