Crime Branch Jammu have arrested a fraudster, who was absconding in various cases of fraud.
Official sources informed that one Parvez Ahmed Mir son of Abdul Rashid Mir of Batote wanted in various fraud cases has been arrested by Crime Branch Jammu. The said accused had cheated a number of innocent persons and extorted huge money from them on the pretext of providing job and other benefits. He is also involved in cheating and extortion of money to the tune of 05 Crore 60 lacs from one Raj Kumar Gupta for which case FIR No.110/2013 called as (Trath Gola) is under investigation with Crime Branch Jammu.
The said accused was also challaned in another cheating case i.e case FIR No.36/2015 in which he was absconding and the court had issued warrant against him u/s 512 Cr.PC. State Govt waging war against local contractors: JPCA
