Srinagar, March 15:

The 29 Bn, CRPF, Srinagar, today organised a medical camp as part of its Civic Action Programme in keeping with its frontline role in community service.

The medical camp was inaugurated by Chhotan Thakur, Commandant- 29 Bn, CRPF, in the presence of Anil Kumar Jha, Second-In-Command,  Suresh Kumar Sharma, Second in Command, Pancham lal, Dy. Commadant,Monica Salve, Asst Commadant ,Mujahid Ul Haq, SDPO, Pantha chowk,  Shaikh Wakeel, SHO Chanpora, along with Medical officer of the unit. The medical camp was organized in Railway Colony, Nowgam in which people were benefitted. A free medical check-up was done and medicines were distributed free of cost to total =200 needy persons

In view of Covid-19 Global pandemic, free sanitization kits, including face mask, hand sanitizer, hand gloves etc. were also distributed. This intiative and “ Human Face” of CRPF was very much appreciated by the general public and Chhotan Thakur, Commandant- 29 Bn, CRPF, assured the gathering of continuing these type of events.
