Shopian, September, 25: The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar accompanied by SSP Shopian, Anayat Ali today visited the Shopian town to listen to the grievances of people.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner while interacting with Civil Society members, Traders Federation,local residents and officials assessed the problems, requiring immediate attention to facilitate the common masses.
The concerns raised by the community including on sanitation, livelihood related, development of vendors and other civic issues were flagged off by the public.
The Deputy Commissioner heard them patiently and assured the public of early redressal of their genuine issues within a stipulated time frame.
The Deputy Commissioner also visited the DH Shopian, inspected the Auxiliary Nursing School (ANM) and Addiction Treatment Facility (ATF).
He enquired about the training being imparted in the school and treatment provided to the patients admitted in the facility.
The DC visited Jamia Masjid, Tak Masjid, Mechanized Parking Construction site, Construction site for street vendors. The executing agency was directed to fast pace work on street vendors construction site and complete the same in the shortest possible time.
