District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kishtwar, Rajinder Singh Tara, reviewed the progress of the various development schemes, here at a meeting of officers of line departments .
Additional District Development Commissioner, Mohd. Hanief Malik; Joint Director Planning, Mohd Iqbal; Assistant commissioner Revenue, Dr. Amir Hussain; Assistant Commissioner Development, Kishore Singh Katoch; District Social welfare officer, Tariq Parveaz Qazi; Chief Education Officer, Dr Kuldeep Sharma; Chief Medical Officer, Dr R S Manhas besides other District Officers ,XEns of PMGSY, PWD and officials among others remained present in the meeting.
At the outset, the DDC held department wise threadbare discussion on the various developmental issues. He underlined the need for devising an effective monitoring mechanism to oversee the progress of the various developmental works and register the achievements under various welfare schemes on a periodic basis, at all levels of the implementation.
He impressed upon all the departmental heads dealing with the social security schemes to ensure 100% Aadhar seeding of the accounts of the beneficiaries to maintain transparency.
He further asked the Nodal officer Aadhar (ACR) and all the concerned heads to conduct a drive for the Aadhar card generation of left out persons.
All the departmental heads were directed to gear up their men and machinery to expedite the pace and ensure the completion of the Back to Village (B2V) programme works by September 2020.
The ACD was directed to take concrete steps for the timely disbursement of the wage payment of MGNREGA workers and also ensure the payment through Aadhar linked accounts.
The DDC further directed the concerned to remove the disparity in PMAY (G) regarding the case sanctioning, Geo-tagging and installments released by 15th of September 2020. He further asked to expedite the process of executing the work and achieving the target under 14th FC, repair of Hand pumps and SBM by September 2020.
To ensure cent percent coverage of the eligible persons under various pension schemes, the DDC directed the Social Welfare Department to ensure the completion of the process by end of this month.
He also directed the CEO to ensure the re-enrollment of dropouts and out of school children.
The Jal Shakti Department was asked to ensure adequate drinking water facility to earmarked 109 schools under languish scheme and the submission of estimation of JJM Scheme as per the new schedule, water testing at Panchayat level well in time.
The PMGSY Engineers were exhorted upon to gear up the men and machinery to complete the target of completion of roads in all respects well in time ahead of the approaching winter session.
Further DDC Kishtwar also directed the heads of Health, Agriculture and Agri-allied departments to ensure 100% registration of farmers and other beneficiaries under PM-KISSAN, KCC, AYUSHMAN Bharat.
