For the effective management and containment of COVID19 pandemic in the district, District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Singh Tara today convened detailed deliberation with the traders and business organisations here at his office chamber.
Additional deputy Commissioner, Pawan Parihar, ASP Mushin Ahmed Chaudhary; Chief Medical Officer, Dr R S Manhas besides the representative heads of various trade and transport associations were present in the meeting.
The DDC stressed on effective implementation of all precautionary measures and solicited the cooperation of the traders in COVID containment measures in the district post un-lockdown period.
He exhorted upon them for striking a balance between economic activity, safeguarding livelihood and effective measures for containment of COVID with special focus on preventive measures like maintenance of social distancing , universal usage of masks at all business points, avoiding the social gather, adopting of the queueing system and following of other SOPs at commercials places in letter and spirit.
The representatives traders and business organizations assured their full cooperation in the effective containment measures at business places.
