Jammu, January 16:
A delegation of J&K Pahari Cultural and Welfare Forum led by its Chairman Sharafat Ali Khan and Raja Aijaz Ali, former IGP, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here today.
The delegation apprised Governor about various issues of Pahari people and requested him for expediting process for granting 3 % reservation to Pahari people and granting Scheduled Tribe status to Pahari people.
Governor assured due consideration of the demands.
