Jammu, May 5: Indian Army has issued the name of soldiers who have laid their lives while fighting terrorists in Rajouri.
In a statement issued, Jammu based defence spokesman Lt. Col Devender Anand said that five bravehearts who laid down their lives during an encounter with terrorists in Rajouri sector are as under:
Lance Naik Ruchin Singh Rawat, S/O Rajendra Singh, belonged to Village Kunigad, Tehsil Gairsain, Uttrakhand.
Paratrooper Siddhant Chettri, S/O Kharka Bahdur, Post office Pulbazar, District – Darjeeling, West Bengal.
Nail Arvind Kumar, S/O Ujwaal Singh, Village- Suri (Chatiala), Post office Marhoon, Tehsil Palampur, District- Kangra, Himachal Pradesh.
Havaldar Neelam Singh, S/O Gurdev Singh, Village Dalpat, post office Jourian, Akhnoor District Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir.
Paratrooper Pramod Negi, S/O Devinder Singh Negi, Village – Shillai, District Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh
