Renowned physician of Kashmir and winner of several international awards for his innovative research in medical sciences , Dr Parvaiz Ahmad Koul was appointed as Director of Sher-e- Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Soura, Srinagar.
His appointment was approved by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
His appointment has been hailed by the medical fraternity and researchers all across Jammu and Kashmir and other parts of the country.
