Srinagar, Jun 02: The Centre on Friday ordered transfer and postings of two IAS officers of AGMUT cadre and posted Dr Pawan Kotwal as advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Ladakh .
The orders were issued by the ministry of home affairs on Thursday, but made public on Friday
Pawan Kotwal’s predecessor Umang Narula will be given posting in Delhi .
Dr. Kotwal has held senior positions in the erstwhile state of jammu and Kashmir and he is known for his dedication to duty and honesty. Within an year of abrogation of Article 370 and creation of Ladakh as a separate Union Territory , his services were placed at the disposal of the UT of Ladakh , because of his deep knowledge of the affairs of the place.
