After the huge success of the earlier two editions of the Women in Government Dialogues, Femme First Foundation now organized the third edition called the ‘Women in Government Conclave’ to promote and showcase women’s leadership in India.  This edition of Women in Government was held at New Delhi from 22nd-24th October, as a hybrid of in-person and virtual events, comprising of panel discussions, workshops, and interviews. On 23rd October during the conclave, workshop on “Online Safety For Women” was organized which was facilitated by Twitter India. The objective of the workshop was to create a platform where researchers, policymakers, as well as non-governmental organizations in the country can meet to discuss issues related to online safety for women and create cyber safety for women.

Ms. Payal Kamat, who works for “Public Policy and Government” for Twitter India was speaker on the occasion and delivered the tips that could be followed while browsing digital space. She also told about safety methods adopted by Twitter India to make platform safe for all. During workshop, Jammu’s Dr. Satwant Singh Rissam while speaking highlighted that checking fake accounts and identity verification should be made priority by Twitter India to make everyone feel safe while using Twitter. The workshop was moderated by Ms. Angellica Ariban, Founder, Femme First Foundation. The overall response to the workshop was very encouraging as all the participants found it very informative and beneficial.
