Jammu, August 13: Two days ahead of Independence- Day and encounter has started between army and terrorists in Akkar forests in the surroundings of the famous tourist resort of Patnitop, a Jammu- based spokesperson of the ministry of defence said on Tuesday evening.
He said “ based on
specific intelligence inputs, a joint operation by #IndianArmy and #JKP was launched in Akar Forest near Patnitop.
Contact has been established with the terrorists and operations are in progress.
