In an shocking incident, a father killed his two teenage sons by shooting them with a rifle before committing suicide in Gallo village of Joda panchayat in Kahra area of district Doda.
The incident occurred around 9:20 pm on May 31 in the far off village of the area.
According to locals, they received an information from family members of Suneet Singh that he has killed his two sons before shooting himself to death with 12 Bore rifle. They immediately informed the police and health authorities about the incident but as the village is situated around 25 kilometers from Kahra, police could reach to the area around midnight.
“Till the time police and health authorities reached the spot, all the three people were dead. We are trying to ascertain the actual reason behind these deaths but so far nothing has come to fore,” said a police officer.
The two deceased boys were identified as Chander Kant (17) and Kamal Kant (15).
