Srinagar, July 25: Former actress, model, and social media influencer Mateena Jeelani on Saturday joined the Apni Party along with her associates during a special event held at the party headquarters.
Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari and other senior leaders welcomed Jeelani and her associates into the party and extended their best wishes.
Mateena Jeelani, who hails from Rajwar in Handwara, is a well-known public figure with a background in acting, modelling, and social media. Her joining event was attended by senior party leaders and workers.
Welcoming the new entrants, the party leadership expressed confidence that Jeelani’s inclusion would further strengthen the party cadre in her respective area and help expand its outreach among the people.
