Jammu , March 27: An influential leader of Chenab Valley Mohd Iqbal Dar has resigned from Democratic Progressive Azad Party of which he was a founder member , and rejoined Congress.
He cited personal reasons for quitting the party, headed by former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad .
On Tuesday he rejoined Congress in Congress in presence of AICC General Secretary Bharat Since Solanki, PCC president Vikar Rasool and working president Raman Bhalla.
The party leaders welcomed Dar with great enthusiasm, and hoped that his rejoining Congress will strengthen party across Jammu and Kashmir
