Doda, September 8:
Four people were injured and two vehicles were damaged in a fire incident in Doda town this evening.
One shop was also completely damaged in the incident.
According to eye witnessed, fire broke out in a cloth house belonging to one Firdous Ahmad of Beoli area of Doda probably due to LPG cylinder blast which engulfed entire shop. “During the incident, four people were injuried which included Irshshad Ahmed, son of Ali Muhammad, Firdous Ahmed, son of Kifaitullah, Khalid Hussain, son of Abdul Hameed, all residents of Beolo and Irshad Ahmed, son of Muhammad Ramzan, a resident of Doda.

During the incident one Maruti Suzuki Swift belonging to Masroor Ahmad was completely damaged whereas another vehicle suffered partial damage.
Immediately after the incident, fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the fire. Police with the help of locals rescued the injured to district hospital from where one critically injured person was referred to GMC Jammu for specialised treatment.
