Four soldiers of the Indian army were injured in a grenade attack in Kulgam in south Kashmir on Wednesday morning.


Army spokesperson confirmed the incident and said that the injured soldiers have been shifted to base hospital for treatment.


Col Rajesh Kalia of 15 corps said
Terrorists lobbed grenade on Army’s Road Opening Party during the sanitisation drill at 1015 hours today in general area Shamshipura, Khanabal, Kulgam.


Four soldiers received splinter injuries. Provided first aid and have been evacuated to 92 Base Hospital. Detailed report will follow.
