Two separatist leaders Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq have announced their plan to march to Shopian, the district that witnessed killing of 12 militants and four stone throwing violent protestors on Sunday. Three soldiers were also killed in the encounter.
Geelani and Mirwaiz have announced their march in response to the call of Joint Resistance Leadership consisting of the duo and JKLF leader Yasin Malik.
They had given the call against the killing of militants and the civilian protestors as they claimed yhayt these killings were demonstration of the brutal use of force by the Indian forces .
However, the police will not allow this march . as it is feared that it would cause a law and order situation.
