Leh, March 23 Lt . Gen . Rashim Bali on Thursday visited forward locations in eastern Ladakh where Indian troops are locked in a standoff with China nearly for three years.
His visit to the forward areas of ForeverinOperations Division came a couple of days after Northern Command chief Lt Gen. Upendra Dwivedi had underlined that the Indian side was operationally prepared for any situation, though the status quo is being maintained at the Line of Actual Control.

A tweet by the Corps showed pictures of soldiers with the GoC on the mountains covered with several feet deep snow.
Lt.Gen. Bali interacted with troops deployed at the strategic locations and he lauded the high level of operational preparedness.
India is leaving nothing to chance in Ladakh in view of the unpredictability of the adversary.
