Jammu, March 29: Since the issue of Kiran Patel rocked union territory as the conman was given z-plus security, Jammu and Kashmir government has ordered inquiry into the issue.
Government has appointed divisional commissioner Kashmir Vijay Kumar Bidhuri as inquiry officer.
In an order issued by the home department today, it has said that Bidhuri will inquire into various aspects of visit of Kiran Patel to Kashmir in past months and security arrangements made thereof.
“The inquiry officer shall identify the lapses on the part of officers/officials concerned and submit a detailed report within one week,” the order reads.
Patel was arrested from a hotel in Srinagar a few days back after administration and police found his movement suspicious and it opened a pandora box as how he managed to get the z-plus security and visit upto Line of Control. He was given a VVIP treatment but now he is under custody.
