Srinagar, July 17:
In Jammu & Kashmir, a gunfight broke out between terrorists and security forces in Sopore area of Baramulla district.
Security sources said that joint team of forces launched a cordon and search operation this morning in Gund Brath village of Sopore. They said at least two terrorists are believed to be trapped in the area.
Meanwhile, authorities suspended mobile internet services in Sopore as a precautionary measure. Heavy deployment has been made to avoid any law and order situation in the encounter area and other places.
There was no report of any fatal or non-fatal casualty on either side so far. Further details are awaited.
