Srinagar, November 7: Gunshots were reportedly heard during a cordon and search operation (CASO) conducted by security forces in the Sagipora area of North Kashmir’s Sopore on Thursday evening.
According to a senior police official, the operation was initiated based on specific intelligence inputs. A joint team of police and army personnel moved into the area and commenced a thorough search.
As the search progressed, gunfire was heard, prompting security forces to further tighten the perimeter around the location. Authorities remain on high alert.
