Kishtwar, October 17:

Acting on a tip off, troops of 11 RR and Jammu and Kashmir today busted the Hizb terror hideout in remote Nawapachi area of Marwah in Kishtwar District.


As per the details available with JKNT, based on a specific input of a terrorist hideout, joint operation was launched by the army and Kishtwar Police in Navapachchi forest area, some 120 KM from District Headquarter Kishtwar and recovered huge cache of arms, ammunition and war like stores including a RPG launcher (one), two pistols, seven grenades, four magazines of AK 47, two magazines of pistol, 9 rounds of pistol, 122 rounds of AK 47.


The hideout according to the officials belongs to Hizb militant commander Jahingir Saroori and his associates Riaz Ahmed alias Hajazi and Muddasir.
The tri carried the reward of Rs. 30 lakh from Jammu and Kashmir police. In addition Jahingir also carried the reward of Rs. 10 lakhs from NIA for his involvement in 2011 Delhi High Court blast.
